A stollen is a tradicional German Christmas Bread. There are as many types of stollen as German families. There are some made purely with butter, others with a marzipan filling. There are many stollen recipes.
Our recipe is our favorite one. It has almonds, candied orange peel (orangeat) and raisins, all of this in a moist and soft yeast dough.
Stollen are made one by one, with a lot of care in each one to achieve its traditional shape and to be able to offer this great product year round. |
