Sugar and Spice was born in 2002 as a dream. Our dream was to offer cookies of an incomparable quality. Our challenge was to make chocolate chip cookies filled with the best chocolate, Italian style biscotti full of almonds, savory cookies with herbs and lots of parmesan cheese, delicious and moist pound cakes, and an amazing panettone, full of hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, truly unforgettable...

We started out with the best recipes, the most generous ones.

When people would taste our cookies they could not believe that they could actually buy cookies like that; these were home made cookies”. The cookies were and still are made as we make them for ourselves. They are not crafted to be sold to other people. There lies the secret to our incomparable and constant quality.

With this mission in sight, we grew. In 2006, we moved our pilot plant to a new factory location where we have a retail store opoen to the public. We hope you come and visit us and in the meantime, we invite you to get to know us better both through this web page and through our blog.
